Question Migration from vBulletin 4.2

Hi Nobita

The problems occurs when IDs are preserved. They were preserved from vb4 to xf but when I try to import the groups from vb4 to xf preserving the ids the nodes and threads are deleted.

Now I've unchecked that option and groups were imported fine but threads haven't been imported. Where can I send you admin access so you can check this?

Since you aren't online on Skype now I remember you have to fix this:

1) There are three NoFap Christians groups
2) In the vbulletin forum there is only one NoFap Christians group
3) Those groups show no messages, only 610 members
4) Original group has 105 group discussions: http://www.nofap.com/oldforum/group.php?groupid=9

You may say it's because the import was run three times and I'm not sure since we've been testing many things. However categories are duplicated (http://www.nofap.com/testforum/admin.php?team-categories/) so this means I run the import twice only so there should be two groups of the same name and not three.

Apart from that, what happens with the discussions? why they are missing?

we have a problem with migrating from vb4 too, see this thread...

we imported the vb4 forum and the user albums with the default xf importer and sonnb gallery, everything worked fine.

then we imported the groups but the content like threads and posted pictures are missing.

the goups and their members got imported. i don't know if i can post a link to the forum because it includes adult content.
