The mod says it is compatible with Xenforo 2.2 + 2.3, but when trying to install 4.0.5 or 4.0.6, we get an error message:

Could not process Truonglv-IgnoreContent-4.0.6.zip: The following requirements for [tl] Ignore Content were not met: [tl] Ignore Content requires XenForo 2.3.0 or higher.

Ignore category
Members can now ignore an entire category. An Ignore button appears on the category page and optionally on the forum index node list (controlled by a new admin option). Ignoring a category cascades to all child forums and their threads automatically, with no additional database queries. Ignored categories are hidden from the forum index.

Truonglv - Since the latest updates, when the option 'Enable quick ignore in node list?' is enabled in the ACP, and a user clicks on the Node title in the Categories list, they are given a prompt to confirm they wish to ignore that Forum, rather than being taken to the forum.
Therefore no way of viewing the forum from the Category list
