Question Your opinio about multi category group

Hi,

Imagine this situation and let me find a way with your opinions please.

We have a legal forum. One of parent categories for groups is Field of Study for Law. It has 3 childs: 1. Bachelor of science 2. Master's degree 3. PHD.

But we want to create some groups that contains content related to both masters degree and phd. For example we want to create a group titled International Trade Law. But it contains discussions that are useful for both masters degree and phd students.

Is it possible to show a group in both categories? If not, what do you suggest?

Your settings do not matter. You are requesting functionality from the developer. How do you propose the functionality would work in relation to permission and settings? How will the group get category permission and settings? There probably needs to be one parent category.
 
Aha.
Then we would have an options while choosing two (or more) categories for a group:
  • Be able to choose which category is most important or main category (then this category's setting would be set)
