Sorry. My data using BLOB so using query to update seem not good. Also depend how many rows you have in table `xf_user_follow`.

thebigkYou can make an query on DB that affect to table `xf_user_follow`. But I do not recommend that.

thebigkNo. Im used BLOB data to save options. So if you want to update an row. So you must update BLOB data. If you have an expirence with that data so doing.
