Issue: when you create an event in a social group, and add an icon, if the icon you upload is too small, its image will persist in the preview window after you change it

Steps to reproduce:

-In a social group, create an event
-Click on "upload event logo"
-Choose an image for that event smaller than the required minimum size (280x280)
-observe the error box about the image being too small, close it
-Click on "upload event logo" again
-Choose an image that meets the size requirements, bigger than 280x280
-The first image (smaller than 280x280) will be displayed in the event logo image space; the second one (bigger than 280x280) will not
-Hit "save changes" without altering anything
-Now, the second image (bigger than 280x280) will be displayed correctly as the event logo

This same behavior happens when initially uploading a group icon image when creating a new social group.

This is not fixed yet. Further explanation about the issue:

It's not a problem that can be shown in screenshots. What happens is you click and hold the mouse over the cover image, which allows you to move the image to reposition it. If you move the cursor off the bottom of the image the pointer changes to the text symbol when you reach the text box, but the image is still moving as if being repositioned if you release the mouse button at this point. This is because the mouse off function hasn't activated over the image (i.e. as far as the image is concerned you still have the mouse button clicked on).

The issue is with the reposition cover function.

When you select the reposition cover function you can click and drag the cover to position it in the area given for the cover image. If you click and drag the cursor outside the cover image area and into the text field below the cursor changes to the text icon as if you were typing something in the text field, but the cover image is still attached to the cursor and moves around as you move it. Releasing the mouse button at this point leaves the cover image attached to the cursor. If you then go back and click on the cover image again the cover image is released from the cursor. I really don't think it's a bug. It doesn't break anything and if people are encountering it, it's user error and easily rectified by just clicking the image.
I'll try and type it out in stages.
  • The reposition cover function is selected.
  • The cursor is position over the image.
  • The mouse is clicked and held, making the image anchored to the position of the cursor within the cover image area.
  • With the mouse button still depressed the cursor is dragged outside the cover image area and into the text area below, changing the cursor from the four arrows symbol to the text symbol.
  • The mouse button is now released, but the cover image remains anchored to the cursor.
  • Moving the cursor back to the cover image and clicking and releasing at this point will release the image from being anchored to the cursor.
