As soon as you have child-forums in group forums you really loose orientation. Try it here and make some child-forums and then navigate to them. You really have no clue where you are and have to go back all the way to the "Forum" tab and start anew.

I would suggest to include a "bread" crumb navigation feature for social groups (nothing fancy, just text links)

Social Group XYZ > Forum ABC > Child-Forum 123

At the top of the group main content, below the Group Cover Container. I can't test and show it here because it seems I lost my admin rights of my group here...
 
Or.... make a better Hierarchy of Forum versus Group Forum... i dont know. Once you are in a child-forum of a social group you get lost.
