Not a Bug number of group messages is incorrect.

This lists 2 discussions with a total of 87 messages.
But on the right side it lists only 9 messages.

I think that the 9 messages it lists there relates to the 7 messages on the group wall with 2 comments.
So in total we have 87 + 9 messages = 96 messages.

I have just done an import of groups that have thousands of messages. But these display as having 0 messages because it only counts group wall messages. I want to turn the group wall off, so my groups would always display 0 messages. So please fix this.

Maybe there is a language barrier at play. With the current wording 'messages' the function is not working like described.
If the function should display the number of messages, then it should include all group messages. Including group thread posts.

If the function should not display the number of messages, but only group wall messages, then it should say 'wall messages'. The tab on group home should then also say 'most wall messages'.

In that case we will need either a total number of messages or the total number of thread messages per group. Because the number of wall messages is not very important. The number of thread messages and the number of discussions per group are important.

I have groups with hundreds of threads and thousands of posts. This is important data to have visible, because people want to know how active a group is. People need to be able to sort groups by the number of group messages. Not wall just messages.

Message count is total for messages on walls. Not for total messages in thread. If you import from VB. It is 0 because on VB has no wall.

It doesn't matter. The name is wrong. It is bad English. 'messages' and 'most messages' means all messages. The function shows only wall messages, so the phrase needs to be corrected. Otherwise people expect something different from this function.
Please change:
'messages' to 'wall messages'
'most messages' to 'most wall messages'
