For those not wanting (or already having) their site to have events solely within this add-on, then you are firewalling between them.
By using the [FS] Event framework, and also publishing Social Group events to [FS] Events, you're allowing owners of both add-ons to get full functionality and flexibility.
I was going to purchase this add-on, but am now rethinking that decision. I already have events on my site - do I keep them and have a disconnect and firewall between site events and social group events, do i disable social group events and constrain it's functionality, or do i remove current site events and now only have social group events, constrain my userbase to create an open social group just to have a site event.
The latter won't happen, so i'd likely keep site events and disable social groups event functionality (assuming I can do that at admin level?) thereby reducing it's value proposition to me.
