Improve quality of group logo images

These look slightly blurry on my retina screen.

Can you increase the quality these are saved at please?

Perhaps at 2x the resolution so that they look sharp on high dpi screen?

I have no size limit set, and the quality is set to 95, which is pretty high.

I think perhaps it's because the resolution of the logo images isn't great? Only 280 x 280 px in a 230 x 230px box.

If they were 2x resolution they would be sharper, so 460 x 460px.

Think so. But it is take more disk space when save multiple dimensions.

XF2 will be supporting 2x retina support for avatars.
Many sites now use 2x images for their logos.

These logos in the groups will look blurry compared to all these other images.
 
Yeah, but it's pretty basic these days and quite standard across many websites.

I honestly wouldn't think it was a consideration at all in terms of performance.

If you have enough groups to worry about performance on very small 2x retina logo images for each group, then your website is large enough and active enough that your server can handle it.

The payoff in better quality is well worth it considering half of users are on mobile, nearly all of which have retina screens these days.
