Custom field for events

It would be awesome if it was possible to add custom fields for events.

It has lots of usages.

Any news about it?
Events are a really important part of Groups. We also have some groups just for Events of different subjects.
So the more features for event, then more we can enjoy using Groups.

Custom fields for add-ons can be implemented as the same as how it is implemented in XFRM.

big add-ons usually add it just like that. AMS UBS SC RMS Tickets and ... are some of the add-ons that are using custom fields system.

will be great if you add it fully. (that way, lots of other features can be reached using custom fields and they won't be needed to be posted as suggestion and you spend time to implement them. using full custom fields system we can do almost everything we need somehow)
