Not a Bug bug/issue with group "forum" posts

I have another issue. I'd like to make the forum posts on each group "self-contained" and not dependent on the existence/linking to a node. I made nodes for each category and linked them which works great, but group forum posts are showing up in a normal "New Posts" check, even tho the "group nodes" are hidden in admin. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Does you check with normal users? I mean users did not belong to group?

All regular users are part of secondary group "Soul" (including those that can access groups) and all forum nodes are set to this group. I just checked and even users that are *not* part of the group can see/post to the group's forum (followed from a new posts search).
