Fixed 2.3.1 - Images for groups on main page extremely slow

After updating to 2.3.1 the images for groups loads extremely slow on the main page

Oh. It is first load so it make slowly. Hmm.

I can confirm this, that the featured slider and the avatars take a long time to load.

Another bug report @Nobita on user profile "Groups" Tab, the avatars don't even load for me:
