This hasn't been fixed. The bug is now 5 months old...

Seems like when the initial group creator / group admin was removed from the group and another admin takes over that regular users can just join the group without the need to be approved by the succeeding group admin.... which is bad...

Hmmm.... normally there would be a cron task that checks if the user is still in a role that makes him a user of the according user group. And if not he could be removed from the group.

When I promote a user to a member role that adds the user to a certain user group, it is not removed when I demote the user later again. For example: Promote Group User to "Admin" and it adds the user to the User Group "Group Admins"... later I demoted that group user to "Group Member" again...

Seems like if you do not have extended permissions for a group the menu of a wall post can not be opened and therefore normal group members that have no specific role can not report wall posts...

As the title says, non-group members can see ANY media that is posted in ANY social group (no matter if public or SECRET), when they have the direct link to the category that is set up for media in the ACP Social Group Options... for example...

It seems to be context sensitive (??? :oops:) ---> Only if there are actual invited members or join requests, the filter shows the option... which I just discovered when you reported this... The question is: Is this a bug or a feature...? :D Please also see this bug...

When both there is one member "invited" and another member sent in a join request (thus: "awaiting approval") they are BOTH displayed in "Invited" and "Awaiting Approval" filter settings. They should only appear where they are actually belong to: one in "awaiting approval" and one in "invited".

I think the last version has this now.

The ability for the group Admin to approve or deny members is missing in the "Awaiting Approval" filtered member list context menu...

There are absolutely no alerts for invites... "User XYZ invited you to join Group ABC"...
