Yes, you can moderate new groups. This is done by category, so you can moderate new groups of one category and not moderate groups of a second/third/fourth category.
Did you install XenGallery after Social Groups was installed? I had this problem with XFMG, and it wouldn't load the Gallery. I had to uninstall the Gallery and Social Groups, Install XFMG first, then reinstall Social Groups. Something to do with the "default" album selected in Social Groups at...
What are you trying to edit? Most of the titles are phrases, prefixed as "Team_" or "Teams_" in the ACP, I can't remember exactly which. (I'd check but I'm waiting on my domain renewal to finish.)
The beauty of this addon is giving the group owners the ability to create their own forum structure, separate from the main board. They create their own discussion areas as they see fit, leaving you to manage/moderate the main boards.
Default for the permission "Maximum groups can add" is set to "0" by default. Throws the error, but it's working as intended. Probably why it's not presenting itself in Permissions Analyzer. Maybe change the default for that permission to "1"?
@alfa1 try changing the above permission for all...
@Nobita
I'm getting this as a Super Admin as well, checked and double checked permissions.
Not sure if it's related to running xF 1.5.9 but I'll update my board tonight to 1.5.11 to check.
I wonder if there's a way to set up a sidebar block to display recent/trending/popular topics that are specific to each group?
I know with Widget Framework you can specify the location. Set it up to display on the group home page, and this could solve the problem, somewhat.
Only thing I'm...
Are your admin permissions properly set up? It should display in the Thread Tools drop down when viewing the thread.
It's at the bottom in your perms.
Then displays as...
Move those threads to the group you created, which will allow them to be seen again.
For individual threads, select "Thread Tools" for the drop down menu. You'll see "move to group" which displays an overlay. Select the category, then select the group.
You'll have to do that for each thread...
Any integration you can do with Resource Manager would be great. I'm using mine as a party or grouping system. Anything like the Media add-ons currently supported would be fine, of course. Currently, I'm using three different addons to do the same thing, and its a hassle to keep them separate...
Yeah, figured it out eventually. I was on mobile when I did the CSS edit, so it was rather difficult to see what I was missing. Got home, fixed it and its working.
Had to edit Listener.PHP to remove it, not sure why the CSS edit wouldn't work. Resolved my issue though, thanks.
Now to upgrade the add-on ;) and fix it again...
I'm wanting to remove the navigation tab, either manually or I'm just missing that option.
I'm making a couple of menus to sort my current tabs. I've got 7 tabs currently and would like to remove the default tab to replace it with a drop down tab showing multiple tabs.
Is this hard-coded in...
1. This is under ACP->Options->Nobita Social Groups. Click the "Extra Tabs" link and select either sonnbb's Gallery or Xenforo Gallery, under that is the option to select the Category. The Category has to be setup within your chosen Gallery add-on.
2. Doesn't appear that wall posts support...
In case this hasn't been resolved yet...
ACP>Applications>Nobita Social Groups>Group Categories
Select the category you want to set the forum, and click the Thread Options tab. There is an option, Selectable Forums. Click the box for it, then select the nodes/sections you want it to access...
Is there a way to do this without modifying the templates? I want to pull all the public events from all groups and display it in a sidebar block on the main forums.
I haven't looked at the templates yet, so no idea what all it would take. If you have an idea and it can be done easily, I'll...
