Fixed 'The user is already in the group' but is not displayed in the member overview

It happens a lot that when I invite a member to a group I get the error:
'The user is already in the group'

But is not displayed in the member overview.

There is no function to rebuild group members. Rebuilding Groups does not help.
 
Are you looked into some other tabs like Invited People or Awaiting Approval?
 
The member is not in the invited people. I cannot see Awaiting Approval due to another bug.

One user (67133) had its accounts merged. A search for the old name does result in the member (displays the correct account. A search for the new name does not result in anything.

Another user (148142) did not have her accounts merged. Searching for the name has no results. The member is in the group member list.

For my own reference: I tried group 80 and user ID's above.

So this seems to be an issue with member search.

I use XFES and Xon's Enhanced Search Essentials.
 
I have to test on my live site with XFES and Xon's Enhanced Search Essentials. My dev site doesn't have XFES.
I will only install 2.8.2 after I test it more.
 
There are 3 invited members, but not this user.
There is no approval tab for this group.
