@truonglv Can we help you with this in any way? I want to be able to upgrade to XF2.0 and keep social groups. My users are using groups as a simple way to create private conversation places (so they can create an equivalent of private forums for their friends, share photos, news etc). They are actively using groups and I cannot migrate without it being upgraded.

If money is the issue here, I'm willing to sponsor part of the upgrade, or some functionality. I am getting a great functionality with your add-on and I am willing to give back... At some point in future I'd love to have compatibility with XF mobile app, and that's something I am willing to sponsor also... Just let me know and we'll figure something out.

jansluThe aim of add-on alway want to create private forums for simple users ;)
 
The most important bugs – especially those with permissions and administration of groups – need to be fixed for XF1. For example: I can't even remove globally banned members from Social Groups because they created the specific group and I am the board admin.

Just got my account expiry.

Can’t say I’m that inclined to renew at this point what with the lack of communication, and I’m concerned about if the issues will be transferred to the 2.0 version.

I’m dissapointed about this as I really like a lot of what’s been done and think this add on is way better than the other xf option.

It feels like it’s just unpolished though.

I’m sorely tempted to switch to IPS for one of my sites just so I can get well supported groups functionality.

I don’t really understand it. It seems like clubs is hugely popular on IPS and Nobita has the perfect opportunity to produce the best defecto groups add on for xf. You’ve got the skills, nail this add on and stay on top of it and I imagine you’d get a loyal following of customers.

RobinHoodI know this version for XF 1 is bad thing. But now it's better in XF 2 :D
