Hi all, hopefully someone can help me with this.
I've set up a public group for people to use as a playground and experiment with group features on my forums. I've configured the default permissions in the ACP, and did so before this group was created. When viewing the /group-roles/ page, I see the roles that I had configured in the ACP, but when drilling down into these groups, all of the permission checkboxes are empty.
This leaves me with a few questions:

This leaves me with a few questions:
- Should I expect to see the checked state of the permissions here mirror that of the ACP?
- If no, why not?
- What happens if I check a box?
- Do group permissions take over and defaults are no longer applicable?
- Does this function as an "override" and only that permission is modified?
- If so, how does one disable a permission using a binary?
- Is there a way to restore to default permissions if I've made a modification?
- What should I do as an admin?
- Encourage user groups to go in and manage their own permissions?
- Discourage users from even touching permissions?
