Question Will you pay again to have Social Group for XF 2?

The title is better to be Will you pay again to have Social Group for XF 2, even if your license is not expired yet?

One of the problems of developers of Big add-ons for xenforo, is that they are worry about XF 2. As you know the XF 2 will be in a way that add-ons will have to be re-written.

So? Developers who have big add-ons with tons of features, in these days, stopped adding new features. Or decreased the speed of updates. This is normal. We should realize.

One of these big add-ons is Social Groups by Nobita. We all know how big it is and how many features it has. And we all have more than (at least) 10 suggestions waiting to be implemented (that some of them are also big suggestions)

I have a suggestion. Everyone who agree, just like the first post or leave a comment below. Or both of them. The suggestion is: Nobita continue implementing the suggestions. And don't be worry about XF 2. When XF 2 released and you decided to update Social Group for XF2, then a new license be needed for everyone who wants it. (with some discount for those who has already license right now). So, when you updated the add-on for XF 2, even if our license isn't still expired, we be required to spend money to purchase new license to be able to download the Social Group for XF 2.

In this way, you will get money for your hard work for that time (as we know how hard will be to re-write a big add-on) and we also will get this benefit right now that suggestions will be implemented asap in these days. As some of us have lots of suggestion that are not yet implemented and we really need them.

I am willing. Social Groups needs to be part of XF2. No matter what.

if its supported yes, my board is firing database errors left and right , we are awaiting an update ASAP as we are

Currently I am not sure if it s possible to migrate my vbulletin groups to nobita groups. The CLI importer I hired Nobita to develop doesn't work and @Nobita doesn't know why. So its a dead end there. But if this is resolved then I suggest the following:

Make the XF2 version a code quality rewrite and increase renewal price.
Its a big addon with lots of features, so its worth more than only $29 renewal.

I will take part in this financially. This product is worth developing and I see a lot potential with it. just put my name in the list.

I would like to give my opinion on the matter as well.

I am also willing to pay to acquire an xF v2.0 version license. Because it is normal to reward the work done to adapt the add-on to the new xenforo mount.

Afterwards, it is also normal that members who already have a license have a gesture, for their fidelity.

100% I'll pay for this addon for xf 2.0, I haven't even move to xf yet and already bought this addon.
